what is the best way to study/pass the théorie for driving permit

I am trying to get my driver's license and I have done the eye test and I will take the «samaritains» course on saturday. After that, it'll be the "théorie" exam/course and I am not sure which is the best way to take this course as I am running short on cash. From what I have understood there are three options.

1 - buy the CD and learn it on laptop
2 - buy the book and read it
3 - buy an android app (fahrelhrer 24) it costs 19chf (can anyone confirm if this is enough to study for the theorique exam?
4 - just let the auto ecole teach you (for $$$).

So, I am torn b/n these options.

What do you suggest EF? based on your experiences?

It depends doesn't it, on your knowledge of French, on your driving experience, on your preferred method of study.

Read the law:

Loi fédérale sur la circulation routière
https://www.admin.ch/opc/fr/classifi...266/index.html

Ordonnance sur les règles de la circulation routière
https://www.admin.ch/opc/fr/classifi...246/index.html

Ordonnance sur la signalisation routière
https://www.admin.ch/opc/fr/classifi...235/index.html

This covers 99% of all questions asked.
The last percent is about the stopping distance and appropriate distance from the car in front.

I learned the book by heart. All the questions are in it. If my memory serves me right, I also used a CD on the computer, to practice in exam conditions.
