Oh man, nothing else to do? No other forum you can troll? Go play outside, the weather is lovely, look for a nice sand pit to build your castles and donīt forget to bring your own water...!
There's nothing wrong in my arguments. Even Swiss people complain about the same things as I do.

My vote is for Switzerland. They speak better English than just about anybody, including me.

My vote is for New Zealand. They've got beaches and they've got mountains.

And they sound a bit Australian too.

Re: Australia or Switzerland a better place to live?

Having lived in both, its Australia for me, people are friendlier and more relaxed, prices for most things are acceptable They actually have more snow in Australia than Switzerland (that even surprised me), there are some really pretty places in Australia and some right grotty places in Switzerland. Housing is better and better value for money. Living costs are generally lower and I am enjoying living here.

Better European food too! (which I didn't believe until I went there).

Which country do you think is a better place to live?
I choose a temperate climate for my vacations. Others enjoy the heat.

It's really a question of weighing-up everything. Don't know Australia or many Australians, but once met a good 'un.

Australia or Switzerland a better place to live?

Australia.

I returned to Australia, to Cairns Tropical North Queensland a few months ago. It was the best decision . I spend the whole day outside walking along the esplanade, swimming in the lagoon a 4800sq m salt water swimming facility. There are free electric BBQ's and picnic areas for use right along the Esplanade foreshore. Free fitness and exercise equipment. I joined the free Tai Chi and Boxfit classes in the morning.
Everyone is outside in the evening, a lot of entertainment (buskers), the Night Market and many restaurants. I do my shopping in the farmers market instead of Migros/Coop.
The beaches north of Cairns up to Port Douglas are beautiful and so is the "Hinterland". Sailing and snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef or visiting the Rainforest is amazing.
I will visit Switzerland/Europe once/twice a year in the future. I had a good job, some friends but now I am retired and like to enjoy life in the sun.

Australia's a huge country and has several climatic zones, ranging from tropical and sub-tropical in the north to temperate in places like Sydney and Melbourne. In fact, Melbourne's climate is very like southern England's. It wouldn't be difficult to find somewhere temperate for your vacation!

Re: Australia or Switzerland a better place to live?

I would pick Germany out of these two.

Restaurants are dirt cheap.

But if i had to pick only one of these i'd go with Australia.

Food is cheaper, rents are OK and girls are the bomb.

I can not think of a single advantage of CH over Australia.

Maybe low tax rates if you are planning to start a company, only this.

Dude you're chasing me everywhere

Call me out if any of my arguments are wrong.

Food is cheaper : check

Rents are OK : check

Girls are the bomb : double check

Taxes in CH are lower : check

There isn't a single wrong thing here.

If you know any advantages then tell us, we should seriously discuss this stuff.

OP might have plans to set up a business he should choose Zug

There is no discussion when one person is too set in his opinion and not open to look at other things. And you are not open to a discussion. Apart from just copying Google bits and pieces without ever having lived in those countries.

Apart from that, no dude..... And just reading the forum

So why do you now say taxes are lower in CH when you were promoting Germany?

Unfortunately taxes are higher in Germany.

This is a fact, cause Germany is a huge country so they need money to maintain infrastructure and welfare.

CH is very small so they don't need that much taxpayer's money.

But it's OK Germany is still better

Even I wanted to start a company i would still start in Germany

I wouldn't pick Germany. Remember there is that posh restaurant, Wannseeterrassen, in Berlin, the one that bills you 12€ just for water. and that piece of shit of a waiter even gets mad if you don't leave him the "compulsory" 10 % tip?

Right, so by the same logic, Canada's taxes should be higher still than Germany's, as Canada is even larger than Germany. (9,984,670km^2 vs 357,021km^2). Even if we say that 2/3 of Canada is a vast wasteland that needs no infrastructure, it's still 10x larger than Germany.

Your logic is so flawed that it isn't even wrong.
