Ordering food from iherb.com 🇺🇸 customs taxes ,Swiss charges, handling fees

I have been ordering many times from iherb dot com and I've been able to avoid customs and taxes by keeping my orders to a max 50chf and selecting the non tracking delivery service( this is from ordering vitamins , beauty products , shampoos, toothpastes )
Does anyone know if I can spend more than 50 chf inclusive of postage to avoid any charges?

Other than that I now want to order honey and maple syrup so good I'd say
It's FOOD category
Does anyone know that I'll be charged anything (customs duties weight?etc)depending on the CONTENTS or WEIGHT of my order rather than TOTAL COST of my order?

During checkout it never shows duties costs but now that I entered honey and maple syrup in my cart 🛒 it's showing this (photo attached) just seems weird that I'd be charged less than 2francs as shown from Switzerland when it arrived

And who will charge me this! Seems weird because the amount is so low

In the past I was charged 25chf approximately for postal charges but this is another thing I'm assuming

Hear you guys soon

I my orders (Vitamins, supplements) are always over CHF 65 but under CHF 200.- shipping included. NO additional tax on that.

Now ordering food may be different.

Just do it and let us know how it went!

Have a read what Swiss customs says:
https://www.ezv.admin.ch/ezv/en/home...itzerland.html

If you want look up duty rate go to www.tares.com. Specialy important as you import from the U.S. which has no free trade agreement with Switzerland.
Honey for example is tarrif No. 0409.0000 and duty is CHF 38.00 per 100 kg (including packaging).
Like tax duty is charged when it is CHF 5 or more. Means you could import a 13 kg package full of honey duty free. Around 9 kg of honey. Sweet

It also depends how well, accurate and complete the CN22 or CN23 (customs declaration form) on the package was filled in.

Also read the FAQ from Post.
https://www.post.ch/en/business/a-z-...ustoms-and-vat

Note that you will have to pay extra when a shipment where you have to pay duty contains more than five goods with different tariff numbers. If you do a big order better order alike stuff.
