Is there a difference between c and b on the car insurance front?
No difference for me as a Brit. Premium stayed the same for about 10 years, then went up slightly, I complained & the price went back to where it was. 0 claims in 10 years might have helped.

You show him your "Permit CH" a.k.a Swiss ID.
It is like having multiple places of origin.
My wife has two, both in the German speaking bit (ZH and SG), which she doesn't speak.

Re: Naturalized, any notifications necessary?

I‘m in exactly this situation and for me it doesn’t look like you have to change so much.

bank - no - i asked my RM and it’s up to me
insurance - makes sense you save a lot - heard 800chf for car
driving license - asked in pass office and colleagues in this situation who have been stopped by police with no problems and were surprised i asked but recommend asking straßenverkehrsamt

but i‘m a dual citizen. if you’ve given up the old i can see why you change

Probably only if you gain or lose US person status. Probably Eritrean as well.

I pay 600F for insurance. It will be great when I become Swiss and can save 800F!

That's a lot, I pay 300 or so (but I'm at 30%).

Yeah. But I'm in Vaud. We pay more for everything. I pay 114 for the motorcycle. What do you pay there?
