Re: Swiss court rules on noisy chicken

Is it a hen or a rooster?

I'm guessing it's a rooster problem...

I've read that the rooster always sleeps on to uppermost roost in the chook-house.

When he crows in the morning, he stands up high - on this roost.

Now if this roost is at a correct hight, such-that he will hit his head during the big stand-up-stretch before the crowing, Then he doesn't crow.

I've never tried it, but it's a good story.

cheers,
