Patsycat. RIP

With great sadness I have to pass on the news that Patsy finally lost her battle with cancer this morning at seven-thirty.

She’d been in the Clinique Beau Sejour, Geneva for the past few weeks, and very unwell since Monday.

I have no details about funeral arrangements, but will post them here once I know what’s happening.

Re: Patsycat. RIP

So sorry to hear a loyal and beloved member of EF has passed on. Her presence and energy will be missed.

A recent post from Patsycat:

I had a wonderful time yesterday, sorry for the tears shed!! But i was just over awed by tbe beauty and perfectness of the Blankie. And to get not one, but two "extras" was a total surprise.

I just want to thank all of you that contributed to make this piece of art. Beyond my wildest dreams, the colours are so soft and vibrant. It shall be loved for many years to come.

I shall post my own pictures later with it in situ. Need to tidy up a bit and get rid of the toyboys that are lounging on it!! Hunk magnet, in my dreams!! Move over Keanu.... theres a good boy...

Lovely, relaxed lunch with a lovely relaxed group of ladies and two equally relaxed hubbies. I hope you all got home safe and sound and enjoyed your visit to Nyon. I think a shopping trip there is going to be on my list of things to do during the January sales. Getting that big pink dog home may be a problem.... Not the Roman Polanski one, they can keep that

Is that enough gushing? There shall be more...

Hugs and love to all of you.

Patsy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

VH22 - prepare yourself to be blown over!!

It's sad, even though we were prepared for it.

I'm glad I met her.

Re: Patsycat. RIP

Very sad news even though we were expecting it.

I was very pleased to have had the chance to meet her in person and to have been able to contribute to the blanket which she liked so much. Such a shame that she didn't get to enjoy it for longer.

Rest in peace, Patsy. We will miss you on EF.

Thank you, Angela, for letting us all know.

Every time I hear mention or see purple heather from the highlands in Scotland, I will think of Patsy and her beautiful blanket.

Sad news.

Re: Patsycat. RIP

We do not have a Love and Respect subforum...

I could move it to the Daily but it is feels too ordinary for her.

I hope she was not in much pain.

I simply couldn't work out which other heading to put it under....

Sorry, a just bit flustered today, but have asked MC to move it if she can think of a better place.

No worries. I will put it in Daily, since Pats read the EF often, she cared.

She was thrilled and so moved with the blankets and pillows, it meant the world to her. Gaaaah, I am sad for her.

We are all thinking of you, Patsycat, and will be. Your writing here is for good.
