Re: What was your high - or low in 2017?

My low was in May/June, the Stomach Bug From Hell That Would.Not.Shift. I fought that dumb virus for over a month before it finally occurred to me to wonder why nobody else in the family had caught it too.

Yeah you guessed it. High point of the year was about 7 months later....

I wouldn’t say that was particularly Midlands English but northern England in general. Budge would be another word for the same thing.

Naaa, if Th3Alchemist didn't have any highs last year, chances are good they already are riding one right now.
After all, it's the 3rd ..... this whole new year thing is already "kalter Kaffee".

thisisroli has no particular reputation at present
Re: What was your high - or low in 2017?

I have been layed off by my previous company in a rather questionable way in March, fought depression and burnout, kept looking for a job and was ignored/ declined so many times I started to seriously question my own qualities.

Started to use the time I have to do things that make me happy, created a strategy for my personal and professional future.

Now its the 14th of January, 2020, my second week at my new workplace at a great company, lots of opportunities to grow as a person and a professional.

I am back stronger than ever, so ready for 2020!

Best of luck to y'all
