What was your high - or low in 2017?

I can't help myself but it's hard to take the world seriously at the moment.

Great Britain and the brexit:

Trump running USA:

meanwhile little Switzerland:

Notice, the little one is standing strong in spite of the headwind

Still, I had a great year. I experienced something very strange but hey, it surely was interesting, had lots of fun, laughed a lot, learnt a lot and I can say I'm very content with 2017.

Hope you feel the same?

Oh wow, that sounds chirpy
You got married this year or was it "just" the celebration of a decision long past?

I don't have high's or low's. I am simply perfectly balanced!

Re: What was your high - or low in 2017?

High: My new job allowed me to arrange my financial life and to save money. I´m not rich, however I´m a comfortable situation recently.

Low: I was planning to travel finally to New York (USA) for 7 days, but I needed to postpone my plan, coz I don´t want to go there in the Trump´s government.

Hmmm..this is a good thread. High would be productivity, discipline. Low is hard to define, fatigue probably.

Re: What was your high - or low in 2017?

High for me personally - being a playtester for the Grim Dawn video game. I was asked if I'd like to become one in 2016 and had done a bit of that since with some updates, but in July we got the new expansion to try out and that was a whole different ball game. Had to check everything, make sure things worked as they should, give our feedback on how it played, etc. Please to say I did find a few things that weren't as they should be so not totally useless at it. Testing went on until mid-October when it was released to the public so a few intense months. New rogue-like dungeon to test in the New Year and then there's a completely new and different game on the horizon for testing later on.

Low? Probably getting whatever the lurgy was that hit me and hubby at the end of November. Felt bloody awful for a few weeks - not nice.

High: another son.

Low: everything else. Overall it's been a pretty shitty year.

Onwards and upwards...

Re: What was your high - or low in 2017?

Great Q
...hmmm there're so many awesome things, id say starting my own 'Health Coaching' business last year is def one of them.
...a low, although it turned into a great opportunity for growth, was when my daughter was struggling big time at Kindergarten.

High, close friends became the proud parents of identical twin boys in November, 6 weeks prem of their Dec 25th due date, and after suffering two miscarriages last year.
Low, losing our 25yr old nephew to Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Re: What was your high - or low in 2017?

Lows: landlord selling the apartment and telling us we will have to leave and OH being told he is no longer needed after 32 years and 5 countries for the same company.

High: realizing that these two events have set us free! No sitting taking the RAV whilst looking for a job that at our age won’t be there. No we are taking control, moving to France and will grow our own veg, bake our own bread and maybe knit yoghurt too

I think you are right, don't go to the USA, never. It changed a lot since Trump, believe me.
