My State pension did not turn up as usual yesterday.
So having not much else to do I did some research and found this.

"If you live abroad and your payment is due in the same week as a US bank holiday, it could arrive one day late. This is because a US company processes these payments."

Of course, yesterday was Martin Luther King day

So fingers crossed it will turn up soon

Hope this info helps anybody else in the same situation.

All the banks were closed in the US yesterday so no payment went through (we had to postpone them as well).

Pension turned up today midday

I was keeping an eye on it because I received one of those "prove you are alive" forms and they have no system to confirm they have received the completed form and it is OK.

Do we need to send you a food parcel, Marton..?
