I’m considering job offer in Switzerland however my two kids are in year 12 and year 9 and speak no French. So next year one of them will be in final A level year and another one will have two more years before GCSE. Is my only option private English speaking school?

Yes.

No public school in Switzerland teaches exclusively in English and there's no way your children are going to learn enough French in such a short period to succeed in a local public Swiss school.

You should consider the cost of private school for the two when assessing the value of the job offer. Do you have the scope to ask for school fees to be included in your package?

EDIT: i wasn't going to say that the kids wont cut it in the local school, like 22yards did... but i fully agree... sorry

Happy to have people suggest good schools in Geneva too - i do know of one boarding school, but have not had personal experience. Hull I have personal experience with, and its good.
