Re: Monday id Fathers Day, everything will be closed.

Monday is Seppitag in Schwyz, a public holiday to celebrate a saint and has nothing to do with celebrating fathers.

Neither.

It's Fathers Day (no apostrophe)

Now you have forced me to turn to Webster's and (now I know) it's Father's Day.
Did "Writing Explained" update its advice? Tom, your link agrees with Busby's research in Webster. It's Father's Day.

(Not here oop north, though. )

All shops open here today. Mummy needs to do the shopping for the hangover breakfast tomorrow. Isn't father's day the day guys go out to get drunk - even those who claim they could potentially be fathers by now?

Anyway, happy father's day, Tom. Hope your ladies spoil you rotten today.
