How cheaper is Il Centro compared to Foxtown?
That's hard to compare, depends on a basket, I assume. Generally, it is cheaper. In my opinion, the difference is significant but more important for us is that it's also more spacious and more kid-friendly (huge playgrounds). There's always a lot of cars with Ticino registration plates, so, I guess some residents prefer it too (at least sometimes).

PS
I have to admit, that gelato is better in FoxTown (how's that possible?!), and we haven't yet found Caldida goods there.

No idea. Perhaps PM dangerden? Apparently it's worth the longer trip from Como.
Yes, something like that. It's worth a longer trip, 2.2 euro toll road (one way) multiply by 2 if you plan to return :-)

Ok, I'll keep this simple: You are in Basel. That's pretty exactly the northern border of CH. Foxtown is on the very southern border of CH. In between are a whole lot of mountains called the alps. There are basically two tiny tunnels to drive through those mountains making that drive a bit annoying and long. If youd start right now about 3 hrs and 44 min according to google maps. A full hour less gets you through the Alsace and to a massive outlet park in Zweibruecken> https://www.zweibrueckenfashionoutlet.com/
They are pretty good for sports gear, casual clothes.

If you are looking for suits would you best go to Metzingen, also a much shorter drive from Basel. The town is home of Hugo Boss and a lot of outlets popped up around the original Boss outlet there. https://www.outletcity.com/de/metzingen/

Roppenheim is the closest to you which has Levis and Superdry. Less than 2 hours:

Im wondering if someone knows of some big outlet in Switzerland, like this one http://fashionfish.ch/

but in Switzerland, i dont want the hassle of crossing the border or nothing like that
Just to get back to your original question re Outlet in Switzerland itself. This is perhaps not quite the answer either, but, as you like Fish. This might be of interest to you as well.

It is actually on the way to Fish from Basel, after leaving the Motorway. Give yourself a treat. Hope no one is upset by this little open secret
