That is very good news!

Does that mean the private screening posted on FB is off?

While my friends and I could make the private screening with some re-scheduling, the timing is unfortunate.

If there are other choices, I'll be thrilled.

Thanks for chasing this down, Alpenkuh.
No problem.

I'm not in touch with the person hosting the Facebook event, but looking at the recent posts it seems to still be on.

I spoke to one of the guys organising the 2 private screenings - both are still on...but you now have many more public screenings to choose from because of the volume of enquiries...

I think the private screening is still on.
There are 2 private screening:
- Saturday 11:00
- Tuesday evening

While there are more choices now, I'm sticking with my reservation for the private screening:
  • I reserved already (want to honor my reservation)
  • I want to honor Sebastian's and Wendy's effort to organize such screenings
  • I think that Sebastian's and Wendy's lobbying effort were driving factors behind WB's decision to have English screenings.

Just a clarification - the decision whether to screen an English version is not WB's...they just provide the content. The decision lies with the cinemas, but you are correct it is due to Seb's and Wendy's lobbying (and others!) that the Kitag and Arena decided to screen this. I tried to get the Basel cinemas to do it but they wouldn't...so I have to make the trek up to Zurich this weekend!
