Hi all,

Just almost got scammed on Facebook marketplace by someone claiming to sell a Thermomix kitchen appliance in the Zurich area, it became obvious that the individual did not have such an appliance but wanted money transferred by bank.

Just alerting others incase anybody else falls for it.

What raised your suspicions that they didn't have it? (Obviously to differentiate between those selling legit stuff and those not)

Sorry for the delay, the indicator was that the lady could not meet and would not provide an address and would only agree to sent it by post. I know of another person who went ahead with the bank transfer, then the facebook account disappeared as did her money.
