Boxed fire wood

Has anyone seen any boxes of fire wood for sale around Zurich. I know I can get it at the big Jumbo's but I am hoping I can get a couple of boxes near Enge.

Re: Boxed fire wood

They'll sell them at your nearest Landi if you're just burning them for fun. For serious heating, you'd be better off finding a proper bulk supplier, in which case the best people to ask are your neighbours.

Re: Boxed fire wood

Just need a couple of boxes for a camping trip to Engadine valley this weekend. Evening temps starting to get a bit chilly over there!

Why not buy it when you get there?

This Landi isn't far off the A3, right at the station Siebnen-Wangen:

Bahnhofstrasse 65, 8854 Siebnen

Re: Boxed fire wood

I did! Not boxed but picked up three sacks worth from Jumbo. Put to good use in the National Park.
