following the terror attcks in Paris the new EU directive aims to make access more difficult to arms that can cause a large number of deaths, such as some semi-automatic weapons. Switzerland is not an EU member, but must also reform its legislation or risk its Schengen membership.

TüV Germany found out that the Merkel Legos are insufficient and rather dangerous. the blocks work as a projectile when a truck might hit them. to secure a market like Berlin Ku'damm they have to invest 2.9 Mio €
theses poller shown in the videos seem more protective though the effects might be that still people get hurt...

they also serve as a deterrent because vehicles will not purposely crash into them unless its an accident therefore its has multiple benefits.
