Train: Baden-Altstetten-Zurich-Flughaffen

Dear Stranger in the train,

If I am not mistaken, you work in Baden and you got off at Altstetten last night. You left so fast, and I was so lost and slow that I didn't even ask your name.

I had a sleepless night last night, but not because of that rude person's actions but because I have rediscovered the long lost and forgotten feeling of being safe. I am still so moved by your kindness and authentic care that I decided to post this letter to you, with the high hopes in miracle, that one day you might come across of these gratitude words:

Dear Stranger, thank you for standing up for me in the train last night, April 08, 2009, at around 6 pm.

Please know that I am okay (grin).

Please know that after you left the train I did not feel alone, and I felt safe. Even now, almost 26 hours later, I still feel your emotional support.

I am writing this to let you know that it has been a long time (probably decades) since I have witnessed any stranger showing so much care and empathy towards another human being in any public transportation. And I have traveled the continents.

How lucky I was to have YOU sitting across me, by the window. Thank you for giving me reassurance at the right moment at the right time.

Dear stranger, you granted me, a stranger to you, the feeling of safety. This doesn't happen often these days. I do truly feel blessed that our paths crossed last night.

Please know that I will cherish the moment when you gave me your kind, full of support smile.

Thank you for being such a rare and caring individual. I will keep and treasure the memories of you for long long time.

With much love and appreciation.

Yours cheeky passenger who felt safe and secure traveling with you.

xo

Please do appreciate if someone still feels such deep gratitude after 10 years and 26 hours (and still counting the hours)!

Due Curley, yes, I AM still COUNTING THE HOURS after the incident in the train. It is a very sad and, somewhat, long story. The bullying was skillfully executed 78 hours ago by an older women, a SBB train conductor. Their role is common world wide, and they should serve as guards or train managers... well, the conductor who approached me, turned out to be a female predictor with a twisted mind, who is taking advantage of her position and is searching for naive victims.

I am sure she have done this before to other foreign female passengers.

The train was full of people that night, about 10-15 people witnessed the bullying, only 1 person stood up for me I HOPE one day he comes across this post and reads my THANK YOU note to him.

Do you mean that I might be experiencing the Love from the First Sight...?

While I don't believe in LFS, 69 hours after he got off the train, I did question if I might be developing the feelings for him....
