Yuna Mastercard/Paysafe query

Hello. Has anyone here ever use a Yuna prepay Mastercard? And ehat does it have to do with Paysafe (I don't even know what that is anyway).

The reason I ask is because I have always used the KIOSK OK Mastercard or Visa prepay, both of which are issued by Cornercard/Cornerbank.

Last month my card number was used by a scammer in Pakistan or India or wherever and Cornerbank blocked my card, said they will issue me a new one for free with my name on it and then they changed their mind a day later and will not issue or allow me me a new one.

I recently saw Yuna Mastercard in a gas station. They are not issued by Cornercard/Cornerbank but have some kind of relationship with something called Paysafe.

But the gas station attendant warned me that there are sometimes problems with the cards. He wouldn't specify what he meant, so I looked online and found complaints from people in 2010 (none later, unless I just missed more recent ones) who lost money and Yuna would not refund them.

Does anyone here have experience with Yuna Mastercard or know anything about the problems? I haven't bought one yet. Thank you.

Hi,

I suppose by now you have found the answer that PaySafe is an online platform for commercial transactions. They issue a Mastercard that can be used via PayPal.
I was looking for advice in case someone had used it via PayPal. However, upon checking reviews, most of them are negative, the last one being 3 days ago.

Re: Yuna Mastercard/Paysafe query

HI Rianna. I later got a prepay WOW-Visa card through the post office. It has no connection to Corner Card or Corner Bank. It's issued by Swisscard. Unfortunately you can only top up at a post office. I can use it also through PayPal. But Swisscard also has normal Visa and Mastercard.

I also got a prepay Revolut Visa card. It can be topped up through a your bank account. I only used it once so far.

I also have the Sonect app. Haven't needed to use it yet.

And I also use TWINT a lot now, online and in COOP, where it's easy to
buy credit. Many banks have their own TWINT app which you can use to top up the TWINT account. But if your bank doesn't have their own TWINT app, it will take a week for the money to become available.

I haven't looked any more into Paysafe as so far I have what I need at the moment.
