Not surprising Zurich is reputed to be one of the most boring cities in the world
Just out of interest... why do you stay here? Do you need to be close to family or something?

Re: The Burocratic Swiss

I bought an ice cream from that kiosk a couple of weeks ago and I did not even notice the sign wasn't there anymore. The ice cream is just good and there is always a queue of customers, his business will not be damaged

20 years ago in Italy my mother had to remove the name of her shop from the sun tents, because with the name they would have become an advertisement sign subject to taxation. This type of rules is designed to apply to a huge variety of situations, but IMHO better to have them than not.

Well done, don't let facts interfere with your opinions. It only messes them up.

It seems he had the problem licked. The new sign must have cost a lot of lolly.

Sadly, I donít post often enough to have Omtwat off spread yet. No more red reps - I used to hit him on a weekly basis, I think.

The Danish expat forums have their share of stupidity, but some of the characters here are more... memorable.

Re: The Burocratic Swiss

Omtstat, are you really 60 years old?

From your profile:

Date of Birth
July 13, 1958 (60)

Further evidence that age does not often equal wisdom.
