Japanese stripped-bark maple

Dear all,

It's my wife birthday and I am sure she would love to have one of those in our garden.
Any clue where could I get one around Zurich area? Are they strong enough to survive the Swiss winter?

Do you mean stripped and not striped?

i.e. Acer griseum rather than Acer capillipes?

You should be able to get a Acer Griseum and maybe a Capillipes from Schwitter near Rotkreuz or Meier but I would call or email first.

Most maples are good to -20'C so you should be OK.
