How much is the penality fee for missing a RDV by the ORP / Chomage?

I missed an appointment on Tuesday and I got a letter to day saying I have 10 days to explain and provide a proof of my absense, otherwise there will be a hefty fine.

I have no reason that will satisfy anyone. As I wanted to try and use Google calendar for my reminders and I logget it, but I didn't get any alarms, notifications ... except If I slide down my phone's top menu, only then I can see it, and I saw it after I got the letter today.

Anyway, I am ready to pay, they will likely deduct from my monthly allownance.

I think it is chf: 300.- but I am not sure.

This is in Lausanne, does anyknow know?

5-10 days pay I would guess, if you were working or in hospital you are in the clear.

This might be important info to add. I don't have the chomage as in, I don't recieve 70-80% of my past salary.

I recieve only the bare minimum for survival. Chf: 300.- would be 1/3 of all I get

You could possibly say you were at an interview somewhere but you would need to arrange this and get proove and it doesn't really explain why you didn't advise them earlier and reschedule your appointment.

Probably best coming clean with them and explain your ineptitude with technology and hope they may accept it but as RAV is your employer, what they say is what goes so if you miss an appointment, it's the same as missing a meeting with your boss; people tend to get a bit pissed off it you can't manage something simple like getting to an appointment on time.
