Btw. I read somewhere that in order to feel happy it's good to practice gratefulness..
Which is entirely the reason why this thread exists

Today, I am grateful for very small things.

Re: The September Attitude of Gratitude

Yessss...So, here we go. For those who are grateful to have what they have:

- for the opportunity to work well and hard

- for our local neighbors organizing things for the entire house

- for pretty amazing leadership we have with our operas

- for people taking no credit when they should

- for those who don't believe in disposability

- for warmth

Are they getting bigger, boobies? In general I mean?

Maybe it's a new fashion for some enhancement garment? Or a special offer on augmentation.. But something is going on.

Certainly seems to be a fashion. Even some chaps are sporting them these days, and they've named them "moobs".

In terms of that and to fit in this thread you have to be grateful for the rising amount of female hormones in the water.

I might be just his wishful thinking, mind you. Aka - relentless optimism.

I am grateful for optimism. And the treadmill waiting for me to board.

Re: The September Attitude of Gratitude

I'm grateful to our German teacher Adrian. Me and OH are really struggling with relative clauses and other stuff at the moment, so last night he gave the other students in class something to do whilst he sat down with us and explained it all.

He is a teacher who has the patience of a saint, for a couple of old farts in their late 50s who are struggling to learn a language it keeps us going back to class

I'm grateful for the absurd amount of privilege which comes from being a native speaker of English in Switzerland.

Tough for some: great for me!

Re: The September Attitude of Gratitude

Pumpkins.

It's their time. I love the piles of pumpkins on the side of the road to a little farm nearby. Reminds me of one of my childhood's favourite: pumpkin pie. The cheap, popular, underrated pumpkin pie.
