Yes, but even so, you'd think the teacher would have made a bit more effort to get the kids to create a little picture rather than something meaningless. The children are quite young, after all.

I agree. It's not meant to be a shape, but recognize number patterns. If this was my daughters class, this will lose points since the lines are not all touching the dots or are going past them.
