Re: The October Attitude of Gratitude.

Grateful for the autumn leaves starting to fall and the kids gathering them.

Collecting, drawing and painting them. I did the same when I was a kid, I'm grateful that some things never change. And some others - do.

I‘m sorry MusicChick, but today my gratitude goes to the fact that I‘ve managed to stick it out so long here. But then again, thinking about it, it‘s far better than the place I left (UK).

Oh, thinking about it again, as I watch the fog rising over the lake with the Alps clear in the background this morning on my daily walk over Zurich (it’s just a shame that the sunrise doesn’t start over the alps) then back on the Seil-Bahn before beginning my day, maybe it‘s not such such a bad place after all.

Beats the gloomy, rainy bus-stops where you are afraid for your safety from where I originated.

Life is what you make of it.
Absolutely! <3

I am grateful for you staying here and supporting your daughter, amazingly! I know she is, as well.

I’m grateful for sweet dreamzz every nite!
Drop by at the Dream thread I got somewhere here, I started dreaming so vividly these days, I will revisit the thread. Poetic!

Ticino Tom, I am grateful for Halloween coming, love the crazy outfits and any excuse to get creative, lol. Gotta find my own group of whacky enough adults (Hello? John H? ), coz my kid thinks I am having an unfair amount of fun there accompanying the kids.

So, right gratitude it is.

- to all who like to role play.

- to all creatives.

- to people organizing conferences who never get enough credit!

- to people who don't need to mob lynch and don't participate. To those who stand up to bullies.

- to friends who bombard me with good will and support, I am a very lucky person to have you.

- to Halloween fans.

- to challenging programs that don't cater to whims.

- to conservatives, to traditionalists and routine lovers.

- to fantastic weather that makes me now melt in my chair and bake in the warm sun.

Re: The October Attitude of Gratitude.

Today I am grateful for:

- Genuinely authentic Mexican tacos with hand made tortillas I had for lunch from:
https://www.la-chamaca.com/wo-sind-wir

- Fridays

- My drinks date with my best girlfriends who I have gone through hell and back with. We live in different cities now, but commit to a once per month booze and laugh fest.

- The bike ride into nature I was able to squeeze in over lunch a couple times this week. (All of the bosses were OOO, another thing to be thankful for!)

Re: The October Attitude of Gratitude.

I have a roof over my head, food in my fridge and people I love and who love me.

What more can one ask for?

Re: The October Attitude of Gratitude.

Gratitude to my Italian hairdresser today who manages to take 10 years off me every time, at the age of 58 it's marvellous! He's recently gone self employed and is renting part of a small salon, it's nice to see a young guy doing well for himself
