| | Anyone know where to get a Steak and Cheese Pie?
I've just moved to Luzern, and i'm already craving a Steak and Cheese pie. Does anyone know if it is possible to even get them in Switzerland? Preferably close to Luzern, but i'm willing to travel.
Thanks in advance.

Despite the fact that they have never heard of such a product , you will be reassured to be asked whether you want fries with it.

If you want a nice steak pie, try the Wetherspoons pub at T2 of Heathrow airport. 6.99GBP, large lumps of tender steak in shortcrust casing (large pie about 12cm across),mashed potato, peas, carrots and gravy on top. Couple that with some cheap beer, and your journey back to Switzerland can be idyllic.

thanks Dave,
now i'm starving
I miss aussie pies, like the ones you get on the little roadside bakeries between melbourne and bendigo on a cold winter's day. | Quote: | | | | | If you want a nice steak pie, try the Wetherspoons pub at T2 of Heathrow airport. 6.99GBP, large lumps of tender steak in shortcrust casing (large pie about 12cm across),mashed potato, peas, carrots and gravy on top. Hmm. I was thinking about making a pie. Then i realised i didn't know how to. And if i did make one, i'd screw it up and it'd probably put me off pies.
London can't be that far away can it? - just as a matter of interest, how much does it usually cost to get from here to London?
And if all else fails, I could just quit my course that i'm doing now and start a bakery that specialises in pies

Whats wrong with cheese? steak and cheese pies are like the ever elusive 5th food group. i guess just steak would be ok. or mince. and chicken, if you must.

It is sometimes hard to tell via electronic communication.
