Re: chocolate bars

I understand that when the State has seized the means of production, the quality of the chocolate improves considerably, due to the addition of nutritional supplements such as vitamin C, caffeine and amphetamine.

It is for this reason that we should be greatful to Fascists for making such excellent chocolate, as well as bringing order and lawfulness to the benighted masses.

Nah! I'm all for going rogue in a kitchen table production kind of way. Used to work with a woman whose annual Christmas present to us all was her homemade version of Baileys. It was to die for! She used to make different versions to request, including a blissful coffee one and even a Turkish Delight flavour.

Re: chocolate bars

There’s a Pfister factory store In Illnau that sells liquor filled chocolate balls. Kind of like truffles I guess. I don’t know if it’s considered “good” chocolate or not but I enjoy the 500g single serving package more than any other chocolate product I’ve had here.

Re: chocolate bars

"true story, my mum ate a large cadburys milk block every day whilst pregnant with me and my two brothers...it's the only chocolate she will eat to this day!"

When my mum was expecting me she got addicted to sniffing mothballs all the time and had to keep one in her handbag. One evening she was at the local cinema round the corner from where we lived with her sister and she lost the mothball in her bag, it must have been dropped and it rolled away under the seats. No kidding, she said she couldn't sit through the film, so they stopped it to let her go home for another one. All of my life I have had a very heightened sense of smell, I often pick up odours nobody else can smell.

On the choccy front I like Cailler, COOP chocolate orange and Ragusa.
