Getting a part-time Job as a Student

soo im in an international school right now, trying to round up my A Levels before university. I was thinking that it'd also be great if I could earn some money on the side. Problem is whenever i check job sites they are always asking for diplomas of asking for my Lehrstelle (or apprenticeship but i dont they have this type in english) but obviously I dont have any of those. Its not like uk where i can just waltz in and ask questions or easily apply online. Retail stores already told me they cant give me a job without a diploma or lehrstelle. I live in Baden, Aargau but am also often in Walliselen, Zurich. Im not being accepted by any fast food stores either. Help! Any Ideas?
Oh and my german is pretty goood, more or less fluent in swiss german too

You must have a residence permit (probably B or C), you need to find out if it allows you to work. Ask your gemeinde.

Would you consider babysitting? I had a friend who earned very well doing this and she had more work than she could accept.

Re: Getting a part-time Job as a Student

It seems like you are a native English speaker, so why don't you put up notices in local grocery stores to help kids with their English homework? I did it when I was a kid (I know a loooooong time ago) in Geneva and it paid decently and was a regular thing (e.g. Student A, every Tu & Th at 1630 for one hour). You could also see if local schools may give your name to students (although that may be a long shot).

You don't need to have qualifications for that...you just need to master your own native language enough to help kids who are beginners and to give them the confidence to use what they learn.
