Packing a TV for shipment, original box missing, ideas?

I don't have the original box any more. I've checked at Bauhaus and Jumbo, not expecting to find a box that fits, and actually found none.

My next step is to ask at Interdiscount if they have an empty box, also not having high hopes, they probably keep the boxes if they need to sell the displayed items.

I am not using a packaging company and would do it myself. Any thoughts on where to get a TV carton box from?

Look in the neighbourhood when it is cardboard collection day, I always see some TV boxes among those piles.

Yeah, already been there...waiting for the right size of the TV is a challenge though

i'd wrap it in a ton of bubble wrap and then double box it. bike stores also have a ton of cardboard boxes.
