And with a single product to offer, the Covid vaccine, but no, theyíre not going to make much money off it
Its undoubtedly something to get them going, but it isn't where they will make their cash in the long term. Prices are just too low - and vaccines will essentially be a commodity before long.

S---, that does not sound good if the delay for Canada is a proxy. Thank God we have AZ coming in vast quantities.

The Covid vaccine isnít like other vaccines though, people are being pushed, encouraged, harassed into taking it. Something like 95% uptake for those that have been offered it in the UK. This will be a massive money maker, especially if top-up shots will be required. Building the brand name is just another benefit.

Fully agree though the future in mRNA goes beyond Covid and that there will be even more opportunities for this technology. I was reading that early trials for an mRNA vaccine against HIV show 95% efficacy

Oh really? There are many countries you can’t even enter without having certain vaccines and children can’t be in schools or daycare without standard vaccination far before Covid-19 ever entered into our knowledge, and for good reason.

Didn’t you admit that you wanted the vaccine and preferably the Astrazenca one? Are you openly admitting to being harassed into taking it?

Not Big Pharma.
Nope ... they gave big pharma a bad name, but in reality, big pharma is far more damaging in less obvious ways.

My 55 year old French neighbour went to her GP yesterday to get vaccinated. Her GP, who was at school with me when we were kids (and therefore should be retired by now!) said 'you know I don't agree with the vaccine' - neighbour was shocked, and told him she was not interested in his views- and to get her 'done'.
And you seem to agree with the lady? If this was any other topic you'd be shocked someone would talk to their doctor like that I'm sure. Makes you think (I'd hope )

Why? Do you think doctors are deities? They're not. They are merely fallible mortals.

Certainly not. But saying you don't even want to hear their medical opinion?

Is book burning next on the political agenda?

From the CBC(National Broadcaster). Even Nunuvat, a northern territory, is now experiencing the virus for the first time.

This is why I said it was the pandemic in a nutshell. A doctor, half a centuryís worth of work experience, expresses doubt over the vaccine. Instantly dismissed as a Covidiot.

This isnít unique, thousands of scientists and doctors have been derided, ignored and even deplatformed for daring to question the response to this pandemic.

Re: Coronavirus

Apparently more than 841 million doses of various vaccines have already been administered worldwide. There has been a few hundred reports of blood clots and other serious side effects.

These complications are also observed in non-vaccinated people and in Covid survivors.

So no, I’m not going to listen to a Dr. who advises against it without some empirical evidence.

Didn’t have the Mumps, Measles, Rubella vaccine, I had the diseases as a child. Same with whopping cough. Four summers in a row were ruined for me and my siblings. One student in my year died from measles. My mother was a teacher, so we got everything.

Are vaccines dangerous? They can be. Are the diseases dangerous? They are.

Oh really? Maybe it would help if less dentists, cardiologists, GPs, political scientists and medical historians would take unfounded positions on the issue, and we would listen primarily to immunologists, virologists and epedemiologists. Among the latter, I largely see consensus on what we are dealing with.

Yes. And there are countries where kids still get the BCG vaccine a couple of days after birth. Shock, horror.

It doesn't matter. He feels harassed so it must be true. It's EF here.

(S)he'll come quickly to tell you (s)he intends to take the vaccine, (s)he's just arguing principles here. Or something.
