That's what I thought: He should leave his nose alone .... Corona or not Corona.

LOL, my thought entirely.
Maybe Corona recognizes his birth-country-fellows? Even if they lived here for ages and have not been to China for years?
Does this mean that the difference in the spread in China and Taiwan gives Taiwan another reason to say they are not the same country?

In English:

As the number of cases increases, the federal government will rely on the “Sentinella system”, which is also used to monitor flu cases. This means that individual cases are no longer counted.

Just a few more rulings and we solved the problem.
"Since the registration system (Sentinella) was founded in 1986, 150 to 250 general practices specializing in general internal medicine and paediatrics have taken part. The participants from all over Switzerland make anonymous reports of illnesses to the BAG. The data are analyzed in the BAG and published weekly in the BAG bulletin and on the Internet."

So Chinese in Europe are amongst the worst affected? Who knew?
If I had a booking in a hotel where Chinese or Italians were known to frequent I'd definitely be cancelling.

I'm sorry, but you're advice it to block your nose and let the fever run its course and or accelerate the fever?

I think the Placebo might help you but I'll stick with whatever the doctors say.

Italians, fair enough, but the chinese are down the list of risks, it's the South Koreans, Bahrainians(?), Iranians, Norwegians, Swiss and Danes you'll need to avoid first.

They won't be infected, rumour has it they'll be in charge once all of this is over. People have been harping on about it for years.

Hmmm, the argument is no worse than any Trump usually comes up with. So yeah, worth a try.

Cancelled our Hôtel in Loèche/Leukerbad on advice of OH's oncologist yesterday. They have agreed to not cancel in fact- but let us swap for a later date- so won't lose at all.

If you book via Booking.com, 90% of the time you can cancel 24/48 hours before with no charge, sometimes you have the option for a cheaper no cancel option.

Horrific as it is, this video was taken over a year ago and the pigs were culled due to African swine fever.
Fake news! Or very old news, or news which is being repurposed to tell a different story one year later in order to discredit a country.

Ours is a timeshare exchange for our TS in the UK- so a very different system.
