It is for someone who does not react well to vaccines in general. Word on the street is that the Pfizer has the least amount of side effects
A lady who got Pfizer yesterday, told me that she got it via her GP.

I have an automatic distrust for someone who asks leading questions then doesn’t allow an answer to be given, rudely interjecting from a prepared script.

Why not just read the entire document. Why the theatrics?

If you want an answer, sit back and let the guy answer

In a recent podcast, I heard a German virologist say it should not be called "side effects" as these symptoms are actually signs of the vaccine working and stimulating immune response. From that perspective, you even may wish for them to occur. They also are said to be more common the younger you are.

Btw, if I want Pfizer vaccine, how can I get it? Would my GP be the best person to contact? Using the general Zurich registration method will get me Moderna most likely. My GP is on holiday for 2 weeks!

Are the 200 docs who apparently signed the document also ophthalmologists? I personally don't know anything, just a curious bystander.

Given the choice I would pick 1 day of not feeling well over 1 week of not being able to move my arm properly

My second dose of Pfizer has caused about a week of a fairly useless arm, hopefully it's fully recovered after 2 weeks.

I know someone who had to take 4 days off work as they could not drive with just one useful arm, health and safety

My doc gave me half of each shot in each arm to minimise any problems - it worked.

Everyone should ask for this.

I don’t actually think this is a very good idea.
Some people have strong reactions to the vaccine and will get that even with a reduced dose.
The doctor doesn’t know beforehand which people will get the bad reaction
and people who get severe effects in their arm from the vaccine they will then have problems in both arms.

Some people are advised to get the shot in a specific arm depending on past medical history. For example, I had breast cancer on my left side, and had lymph nodes removed. So I had both shots in my dominant arm. I have friends in the US who‘ve had bilateral mastecomies and lots of lymph nodes removed on both sides. They got their vax in the hip.

Yes, agree. I opted for the right arm as it’s the most muscular from tennis (before Corona), and thought that might hurt less. But next vaccine is in a few days and will opt for the left this time. It might hurt more for that split second, but when it comes to Covid vaccines, am almost starting to enjoy it

That's better than the timeline I was given (viz., ready by autumn) when I had my second Moderna vaccination, but still: why has it taken this long to get an app ready?!

I had my second Moderna jab on Friday, 48 hours ago. I had the same reaction as to the first dose: slight swelling of the wrist and hand on the arm that was injected. And on Friday afternoon and all day yesterday, I made multiple trips to a builder's yard (in a gearless car!), then carted 3.5 tonnes of sand and gravel, three quarters of a tonne of pavers, and 1,500 litres of pine bark in a wheelbarrow. Each person has an individual response, I guess.
