| | Re: Coronavirus | Quote: | | | | | Precautions like banning flights from China early on, as in January. You know, the kind of measure that might have saved Italy this mess (to say nothing of our country of residence)? Being open borders at this stage is even more lunatic than in normal conditions.
........ | | | | | Not much factual evidence that Trump closing borders with China actually achieved anything!
Currently, the infection rate in the US is 4.2 cases per million. Compare with neighboring countries that did not close borders, Canada 3.2, Mexico 0.1. Source |

| | Re: Coronavirus
Hey, no slur intended. I had been telling my< friends about this and only made the first (now moved) thread to pass on what has been working for me (my background is experimental physics and I live from various successful mass-mkt inventions, having earlier worked as an in-house consultant at a huge USA defense contractor at new or unusual problems which others could not solve ... so while taking my assessments as provisional -- I trust nothing, incl. myself -- my "track record" gives some weight to what might seem silly ideas).
Anyway, health issues are one's own responsibility, so with so-called "Enlightened Self-Interest" what I posted about some little-known research and my own decades-long experience using it (and other things, also proven, like putting caffein in cold meds, for ex.) might help any interested in trying some harmless things for their colds ( not COVID-19, why I started a separate thread) ... the fewer sick out there and the more healthcare resources thus available, the lower my chances of having a terrible halth problem.
