This graph is making the assumption that people who have been through COVID naturally do not have a lower risk of hospitalization or reinfection.

It also does not take into account that a population with a lower level of vaccination will be likely to facilitate the natural spread and thus lead to higher levels of natural immunity.
Also in small print at the bottom -

Left hand side is people 50+ years.
The right hand side scenario is hypathetical??

Referring to vaccination rates, yes. So they picked 70% to illustrate an alternative case.

Re: Coronavirus

Got nasty sideeffect from second Moderna shot
At Sunday I was diagnosed with lung infection
it seems, there was an infection in upper respiratory tract during second jab and while immune system fights with artificial virus, real shit passed thru natural protection to lungs

so please, postpone a shot if you feel any kind of sickness.
I did not feel anything until on 2nd day after the shot I started to cough

Re: Coronavirus

I just got information that it's a possible for a tourist to get vaccinated in Triemli (probably in some other centers as well) in the end of the day as they are throwing away the leftover doses.

You are not the only case. Apparently, there are a lot of nasty side effects after the Moderna shot. I see people being sick a week or longer, so it's safe to talk about Long Moderna.

The best course is to wait and not take the vaccine if you are not in a risk group. See what is all about, right now there is a lot of censorship related to the side effects. Just taking the vaccine due to peer pressure or easy travelling might have long term consequences.

Got any links to back up any that info or just spouting 'evidence' and we should 'do our own research'?

Re: Coronavirus

My partner was in bed for a day, and off work the next, after the 2nd Moderna shot. Fever etc.
Our niece (18) caught COVid, one day in bed, next day back to usual.

You might want to check the thread on this. Risk group and vaccinations in April and May. Apart from feeling crap for 2 days after the second one, no side effects.

They also clearly stated not to take the vaccin if you do not feel well, especially now that that RSV is going around

So that could well also have happened with any other vaccin.

Hope you feel better soon vladest!

I think you clearly missed the point where that is the phrase often used by those throwing similar conspiracy/scaremongering tactics around with zero evidence.

The prudent course of action is to be cautious if the result can be potentially damaging. Which is the case here.

Your question is faulty judgement. It is not myself that I have to produce the evidence that the vaccine can produce negative consequence. The vaccine proponents have to provide evidence that the vaccine does no damage. Which at this point in time it's impossible because the mass testing is ongoing with no known long term consequences (long moderna anyone yet?) and obviously there are a lot of issues after the first shot. And even more after the second shot.

There are potential issues with the vaccine which are not yet known. If other additional shots are needed (delta and its descendants), it might be that people are even worse after a third or a fourth shot than after the second shot. The consequence would be that some people reached peak vaccine after a couple of shots and cannot protect themselves anymore with further vaccines. Let's hope this is not the case.
