I bet China will stick with 2.1% death rate every time they disclose new stats. Just like their GDP growth numbers which miraculously always hover around the same %.

Just to be safe, I stocked up on 9mm and .45 ammo this weekend: 5000 rounds of each.

Also bought a large supply of bottled water and canned foods and stuff and have 500 facemasks and goggles arrived tomorrow. Already have a fair amount of physical gold at home.

Prepare for the worst, especially now that cases are starting to appear in Europe.
I rarely if ever groan but you are a troll and groan worthy...

Reading comprehension? I was referring to the GDP stats coming from the Chinese government not from some vague website.

People like you are dangerous. You like to silence people that are different, views on the fringe. And when you do that you'll find new victims until all you have left is a fascist little bubble to live in. No thanks.

I give you the benefit of doubt and assume you're a demo version of a bot developed in a junior class project. For this, well done!

Callling non-mainstream opinion posters trolls. Kind of like that Chinese MD who raised the alarm on Coronavirus in December already and got told to keep his mouth shut.

There is a good, albeit old joke that fits in here pretty well - keyword "non-mainstream"

While driving on the highway, Mr Schmidt listens to the radio.

"Please be careful between London and Birmingham, there is a ghost driver in the Northern direction"

"One?" He shouts out. "There must be hundreds!"

And enjoy continue groaning at all my last couple posts you find across the whole forum having zero context with this thread, how very adult from you

1) don't give up your day job to become a comedian

2) don't accuse others of what you yourself are doing

For what? Obviously taking the piss out of those who - in his opinion - overly panic?
I share the opinion that the panic is at the moment in no relation to all the deaths of the yearly flus here in Europe, who nobody seems to even take notice of really. I mentioned that in an earlier post. I might have a different way to express myself.

I do wonder what he would store the gold for, LOL.

If this poster annoys you, the more you bite, the wilder he will get. There is always the ignore button, such a peaceful weapon here.

Here's how a pandemic virus from China started on the BBC back in 1975 completely wiping out populations
across the world including the UK and leaving the Survivors trapped in time back in the 1970's
with no Internet, no Smartphones and worst of all no Facebook or Twitter.

Yes a fate worst than death for The Survivors, therefore only those who are into the retro 1970's
look will be the true Survivors.

Survivors - How Britain coped with a Pandemic on the BBC

Show us where the Chinese government contradicts the numbers I gave you.

If you had read the small print in his link you would have seen, GDP source: National Bureau of Statistics of China; this bureau is the official statistics site for the Govt. of China.

If you prefer you can go directly to the web site of the Chinese Govt. National Bureau of Statistics here and strangely enough you will see the GDP numbers quoted there are exactly the same as quoted in this "some vague website".

Hope this helps you

Ignore button, groan button; so many choices but so little time.

Back on the topic, the World Dream ship in quarantine in Hong Kong has been released and the virus has a new official name; NCP.

Re: Coronavirus

The daily new numbers are in:

Confirmed cases: 40.216
Death: 907
Recovered: 3.246

In percentages:

Confirmed cases that died: (Death/confirmed)x100 = 2.26%
Confirmed cases that recovered: (Recovery/confirmed)x100 = 8.07%
People still under treatment = 89.67%

2 British families have been quarantined, 5 declared as Coronavirus contaminated, very close to Megève, itself close to Geneva. Full article here: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/feb/08/hunt-for-coronavirus-victims-as-trail-leads-from-singapore-to-uk-and-france
It's what they're not saying that is the real story. This was les Contamines, and everyone accessing by flying in, esp to/from UK,uses Geneva airport. Funny no one admitting that yet. But I'd be nearly 100% certain these people flew through Geneva more than once.

Re: Coronavirus

There are dozens of newly confirmed coronavirus cases aboard the Diamond Princess ship docked in Yokohama, bringing the total number now on the vessel to 136, there are claimed to be 3,700 on board.

Must be horrible being confined to a ship watching the infected numbers rising, like one of those murder movies where people are confined to a house and being picked off one by one!
