I just don't get how people look for actual stuff to take a jab at. 10 million, that's roughly 3.3% of the entire population. What do you expect the government to do, employ a squad of people in hazmat suits with wads of cash to look for un- and underbanked people? You play the cards you're dealt with, tough luck.
Because of some messed up loopholes, I was left without health insurance coverage in Switzerland 3 times. There was no cupcake across the globe shedding a tear about it.
Obama would've parachuted down and personally handed over the money to each struggling family and then shook their hands to boot.

I was actually wondering .... you can't kill corona with heat, nor by freezing .... it lives on surfaces. Apples have a surface. Un-peelable veggies do. Meat does.
Sure, you can wash them .... but not with soap.

Naaa, I'm not saying I will stop eating. But I guess, it's not the time to enjoy a Tatar?

That's awesome! You did a fantastic job..your mil will love them. People froze stuff I brought them (fabric too) to get rid off germs.
Freezing does not kill viruses, it preserves them. There is some literature around ancient viruses extracted from Siberian lakes.

Freezing and then thawing does not do them a lot of good, so several cycles of freeing/thawing will significantly reduce them.

Better to put the fabric in a tumble dryer at high heat, according to the WHO temperatures of 65/70C will kill most germs and viruses. Of course, there is not a lot known about this new coronavirus and its vulnerabilities.

Edit; others say you need at least 75C

I had a bit of a google... seems a hairdryer is about 40 to 50 degrees C.

Irons can be around 150 to over 200 degrees C.

Good idea, but you need to keep the fabric at the high temperature for some minutes
Or put them in the oven.

Most fabrics are OK up to 150C but always try a small piece or an old garment first.

Possibly you do not know that in 2009 under Obama, the Economic Stimulus Act sent out $13 billion in stimulus checks.
He did not hand it out personally

I do wash my apples with liquid soap, if you do just rinse well and eat it right after you wash, or else they go bad sooner, I avoid cruciferous vegetables like broccoli for a while now(might be stupid but looks like a lot of surface area..), and stuff like cabbage i just peel off the outermost layer...

I take it you two are joking. Right?

I really had no idea about the freezing thing (and yes, was skeptical)... but didn't have time to research it before posting.

Thanks. I remember reading about that before -- about ancient viruses being preserved. With the masks I made, I chose cotton fabric that I pre-shrunk and can withstand high temperature wash. Thank you for the tip about the dryer. I hope I can believe that one without people getting mad at me for it.
