is there a tracker showing the swiss infection rate currently ? The bing map shows day on day increase but does not track over time. it must be on a site somewhere here in CH.

cheers
A solid update on the situations in France and Italy would be welcome too. I’ve seen some headlines that things are continuing to worsen in both areas but I have no idea what information is accurate any more.

I've been doing way too much teabagging working from home.
I'm going to have to go out and forage for PG Tips presently.

Any specific things you are looking for?

News is hard atm, it changes every couple of hours, numbers keep going up everywhere (besides China), and there is simply to much news going on.

Some papers have pretty decent live-blogs that cover the major decisions made like this one:

https://www.bild.de/news/inland/news...tml#la69463446

Google translate or a browser that auto-translate can help you.

Don't be racist and don't quarantine yourself.

At the moment it's pretty useless anyway....hug, kiss 3 times on both chicks, do your usual jogging and exhale your droplets towards people who're passing by.
Love it how the Freudians keep coming these days.

Re: Coronavirus

This morning I've read about Swiss tourists (citizens + residents) stuck on the Canary Islands, Thailand or Peru because flights were cancelled. Already happened to some people in Morocco. https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/covid-19_swiss-travellers-stuck-in-morocco-can-fly-home/45622992

All people abroad should have the resources to sustain themselves while they return. I wonder if tour operators are liable or not, we'll see in the following days. It seems that if someone is abroad and without money, the only alternative is a Swiss embassy or consulate.

Also read about the Swiss law for Citizens and Institutions abroad. This law is quite clear " Art 5 Personal responsibility - Every individual shall exercise personal responsibility when planning or undertaking a stay abroad or when working abroad." https://www.admin.ch/opc/en/classifi...127/index.html A

Re: Coronavirus

It has now been made clear that shops which sell non-food articles along food articles have to stop the sale of those non-food articles.

https://www.blick.ch/news/schweiz/mi...d15801511.html

"In einem Laden, der nicht nur Lebensmittel, sondern auch andere Waren verkauft, weisen die Polizisten eine Verkäuferin daraufhin, dass die Non-Food-Abteilung abgesperrt werden muss."

So you can't get your spring fashion from Migros or Aldi

Also, now several experts demand a proper lockdown, not the light version which was implemented on Monday..

Tom is a virile man, as per his stories on EF. I wouldn't be that surprised if there were 2 chicks*. Legit or not.

Why, you interested in his arrangements?

*or maybe cats.

Me too, we lucked out! We were actually still teaching

Hang in there!!! Holler, au cas où

Teaching is good but how to quiz and check, make sure stuff gets retained, hmmmm.
Well, if it comes to the point you've shifted to online, I've been using Zoom and Seesaw with good results. I don't know what you're allowed to do online or the grade level you teach and it's certainly not the same as in-person teaching and learning, but <shrug> You can only do what you can do.

Heard about this on WRS this Morning.

A Swiss journalist has been compiling and translating into English, Coronavirus reports in Swiss media.

You can find him on twitter @coronaenglish

Well, if it makes you happy to think something hidden about Tom Ticino has been accidentally revealed in my post, be my guest. Enjoy the thought.

I was only trying to tell him to carry on, nothing to see here.

I went to the "MM" Migros at Kreutzplatz. They are definitely low on pasta, rice, tinned tomatoes but seem well stocked regarding fruit/veg, eggs, cheese and meats.

Possibly. Give the man a beer, amazing levels of patience. I just want to know how to reach those levels, mine is totally devoted to my wife

Whats the latest out here today?! Are we on a proper lockdown? Can we leave our flats to go for a walk? Anyone considering flying back to England?

No change since yesterday. Sort of, lockdown is getting different meanings on a regular basis. Yes, out of your house you may go. No, been there once and wouldn't recommend it.

We went to Manor this morning.
All fully stocked and operating as normal although there were very few customers.
Tinned tomato shelves were a bit bare but they had a pallet full of stuff next to them waiting to be put on the shelves.
