Re: Coronavirus

"Measures to combat the coronavirus outbreak have been extended by one week, until 26 April. They will be gradually relaxed before the end of April. The Federal Council will decide on the scenario for ending the crisis next week.

The measures to combat the coronavirus epidemic are well implemented and are showing effects, he said on Wednesday. In view of epidemiological developments and scientific recommendations, the government is nevertheless extending the measures.

But these will be gradually relaxed with all due caution before the end of April. It will decide on the course of action at its April 16 session.

The criteria for relaxation will depend on the number of new infections, hospitalizations and deaths. The way in which social and hygiene measures are respected and how gatherings of people are avoided will also be decisive.

Switzerland's strategy will have to be coordinated with that of other countries. Business and the scientific community will have to be involved. In addition, sufficient human and material resources must be made available for the detection and follow-up of contacts."

No. 10 just announced Boris is improving and can now breathe without a ventilator.
I suppose they forgot that they said he did not need a ventilator?

Downing Street denied the Prime Minister was on ventilation when questioned, adding they would relay any changes to his condition to the public.

He‘s on a CPAP machine, ie. the type of breathing machine that I (and many, many others) is subscribed for sleep apnea (snoring is a common symptom). For me it was prescribed about 2 years ago after a time in a sleep laboratory for insomnia.

Dismissed it, and don‘t snore since (at least no-one to hear it anymore within close proximity). And sleep wonderfully by getting some kind of exercise each day. Also gave-up ‚active’ EF funnily enough around the same time...

I've been unable to find any news source that says that. Where did you read it?

It was flashed up on BBC TV, like a news ticker.

No, they just meant that Boris can breathe now without a ventilator, just like before he went into intensive care. They did forget to mention that he can walk now without a prosthetic leg, though.

Now you are starting to sound like Trump when he was given warning of the advice received by one of his top administrators away back, saying that he didn‘t look for advice on a nearing potential pandemic that could kill many thousands of people. So he over-looked it

Yeah, he was never on a ventilator, but on an oxygen machine. Maybe that has changed, dunno.

A wild guess is that they're asking if you did something sleep apnea related or was it just generally exercise?
I know I snore less when I do general exercise such as running, swimming, smoking or cycling. Anything to give the lungs a good go.

That’s how I understood it too.
There really was nothing confusing about that question in my opinion.

A training with a kebab machine so that you don't snore while on EF.

Really quite amusing how all the alarmists here all of a sudden got more interested in BJ bowel movements than the fact that lockdown will be over in 3 weeks

I guess that most of the above (maybe below) posters do not understand what 2 meters means.

Ah yes, the 2 meter exercise program. Not as popular as it once was but I'm starting to see a resurgence in this hard as nails prison derived program. In the 2m space beside your bed you can be the talk of the yard, find out how with this book...
