Tallies with a story somewhere in an English ticker I was reading earlier today that one of the effects of the virus appears to be blood clotting. So everyone in hospital will now be getting rat poison!

According to some Dutch researches, bald man with beards have a higher corona risk. So, if you are old, fat, bald and have a beard, you should really watch out.

That's normal when you stay too long in a hospital bed. I guess it doesn't help the fight against the virus directly, it just makes sure the patient would not die of other things before corona could finish the job.

Bald men are more likely to be older (and so in a higher risk group) and beards are supposed to be pretty bad news as a surface for the virus and other dirt and debris.

He's in the high risk category anyways with him working well past retirement age, not to mind the beard and weight. It's a pity that as a self employed person he probably receives very little in the way of government support. The balding is news but I’d be losing hair with an ever increasing order book of high tech equipment manufactured for free.

Those stats were all people who tested positive in the country so far. Up to right now 6 900 and some. It wasn't a random sample but all positive tests up to a very recent date. Once they find one positive person, the teams go and track up to 100 possible contact people and test for potential new positives.

Btw, regular flu - I read somewhere that no. 1 risk population are medical professions, no. 2 are teachers.

Another thing is that the schools have closed a few days into March, so the teachers must have gotten infected really way back at the beginning of the epidemics.

No, only mentioned the largest groups. Considering that majority of the positive people don't get really ill, your assumption is probably not correct. There haven't been many deaths nor reached capacity of ICU beds so far in CZ, they flew foreign Covid19 patients in from France to help out.
