You charmer. It is based on experience, since I rarely get sick.

Closed schools are gonna be tough, I think, on kids.

Re: Coronavirus

I was living in China during SARS, but well outside of the affected areas. It was fascinatingly interesting and slightly scary time.

Lots of meaningless security theatre, some extremely totalitarian actions, and a whole bunch of family pets killed out of ill-informed paranoia.

And my local hotpot place stopped serving venison and snake, which was a bummer.

This one seems far more virulent, and is moving really, really fast. Hitting at CNY is a bit of a nightmare timing, with something like 600 mil Chinese traveling and the transport networks being so jammed. Canada has its first case now, as well.

It is true that the city manager didn’t do a good job to solve it faster but the pictures of dead people are totally fake. If you ever lived in a country that has so many population and you will understand there are only few amounts of doctors but too many patients and only limited testers for testing. Especially the symptoms is invisible at the beginning, really hard to make sure who have it or not. But thousands of doctors and masks are going to Wuhan to help. The central government also give special team to support. The situation is not totally what you see from reading some reports. Now China already blocked all the tourists to foreign countries.
anyway you don’t really need to worry. After China blocked the tourists from China, the situation in Europe will not become worse.
You are a optimistic guy, please be optimistic again
- The reports have not been proven to be false.
- China did not block all tourism from the country.
- You admit medical staff can't handle it.

What, did I miss an episode on Netflix today with candles

I completely got the bit with the magic mushrooms, vibrator, having strings lift my aging 40ish neck wrinkles in a very natural way (but that ship has sailed), am pescatarian anyways and so on, but kind of drifted when it came to making contact with my long dead relatives on iPhone speed-dial and so on...

Re: Coronavirus

a researcher in Hong Kong University says the size of the virus is around 400-500nm diameter, which should land onto the ground if somebody sneeze 3 meters away.

My personal distance zone is 3m now

No doubt pungent enough to keep the mosquitos away, not sure it will work on the the greatest threat to life in the history of mankind.

No, we need something more powerful, like chakra stones.

Why aren’t people wearing them? I haven’t seen one person in the city wearing them, except maybe a subset of tourists and even then no more than usual.

OK. You saw one. How is that mass hysteria then?

You could have seen the occasional person wearing a surgical mask even before this epidemic.

I was referring to the fact that chemists are selling out of masks very rapidly.
