Ahem, you are comparing super densely populated urban jungle (complete with high-rise ghettos) to a sophisticated alpine country?
No, I am not making a comparison. I am repeating information from our host.

Oh, this one's easy: serve alternate rows in two eating sessions

I wonder if plane tickets will get even cheaper to lure over-cautious travelers in or more expensive to extort from those who must fly?

Turns out that bars and restaurants will be taking names and phone numbers of their guests. Not sure I'm completely happy with it, but it beats having to download a tracking app.
Now if only some of those lovely staff would give me their numbers as well.

Why? To contact you if a guest or employee gets the virus and you were there then?

That is the reason and I can understand why they're doing it. But I don't see why they have different rules for different sectors.

I've also a mild paranoia about my phone number from past experiences and have since tried to limit the number of people with it. It's getting harder and harder to keep it to a small number these days and I think it's a lost cause.

I know I don't have to go to bar, but I'm parched thinking about a pint of Guinness

i'm not so sure, governments media around the world have been so successful at scaring the living daylights out of people that is still quite a lot of reluctance to come out of lockdown. Perhaps when it starts hitting people's pockets they'll act.

The employees, yes.

The employer will know when an employee tests positive and be able to inform the guests the employee took the numbers from during the prior 5-10 or so days.

I just don't see how the restaurants would be informed about guests falling ill, and other guests getting informed. It's "analog", thus all just noted on paper. This would be an examplary case for the tracing app.

No. In case you give them a bad review on Trip Advisor so they can send the boys round.

The law of supply and demand applies. Pricing doesn’t involve extortion but what the punter is prepared to pay.

If an airline prices too high, they spill passengers. If they price too low they spill revenue. There is always a magic number in there, and finding it may be difficult, but the airlines have been doing it for years. Some get it right, and they prosper. Some get it wrong and they disappear.

Problem is that on current evidence the tattoos would have a longer life than the immunity

How can it be that they allow unregulated travel on trains, trams and buses in CH. For sure they will be packed full on Monday. But with flying they have so many restrictions. Does not seem to be a difference-if anything they are less packed in than in a train or bus! ( standing room only )

More developments taking place with the immunity passports - called Health passports

Quote from the Guardian:
Tech firms are in talks with British ministers about creating health passports
to help Britons return safely to work using coronavirus testing and facial recognition.
Facial biometrics could be used to help provide a digital certificate – sometimes known
as an immunity passport – proving which workers have had Covid-19, as a possible way
of easing the impact on the economy and businesses from ongoing physical distancing
even after current lockdown measures are eased.

The Guardian - Tech firms say health passports could be ready in months

So if you have not had Covid 19 ( and possibly died from it ) you don't get a job. Dumb. Simply dumb.
