I mentioned earlier, it's almost as if there are those that are desperate for a second wave in order just to get a "win"
Yes, I'm desperate - I'm going around licking the handrails on buses and trains.

You do write some ridiculous things.

Black Lives Matter protests have not led to a spike in coronavirus cases, research says

Despite warnings from public health officials, new research suggests Black Lives Matter protests across the country have not led to a jump in coronavirus cases.

A new study, published this month by the National Bureau of Economic Research, used data on protests from more than 300 of the largest US cities, and found no evidence that coronavirus cases grew in the weeks following the beginning of the protests.

Interestingly seems to confirm the theory that transmission of the virus is much rarer outdoors than indoors.

I read that too. Have they released a full list of "High risk countries" yet?
If not, do anyone know when they will release this list?

It was an old man in a hospital excited by all the nurses, doctors just covering for him to prevent embarrassment.

Breaking news!!

"Ahnlich äusserte sich auch die Vizepräsidentin der Bahngewerkschaft SEV. «Das Zugpersonal ist keine Polizei und wird es auch in Zukunft nicht sein können», sagte Barbara Spallinger gegenüber «SRF News». Ein Zugbegleiter könne einen Fahrgast lediglich dazu auffordern, eine Maske zu tragen, das sei allerdings schon alles."

The Vice President of the railway union SEV also made a similar statement. "The train crew is not a police force and will not be able to do so in the future," said Barbara Spallinger to "SRF News". A train attendant could only ask a passenger to wear a mask, but that was all.

They could have fooled me with those gung ho ticket inspectors backed up by the boys and girls in blue uniforms.

Having taken a few weeks away from this place, it's good to see some people are still in a drama fuelled state of denial and talking about controlled immunity when there's absolutely zero evidence to back that up...zilch! Nada!
Then lots of old & venerable people are going to die, very little we can do about it, however I disagree with your 'dramatic vision'.

As a Covid Survivor, even my wife did not catch it. I was ill before Covid was on the radar in Europe so never ended up as a statistic or saw a Dr.

I have antibodies so that would imply some immunity, looks like blood groups play a large part with A+ being the most likely & O+ being the least likely to catch it.

Yesterday, the John Hopkins University reported 50,655 new confirmed US cases, 645 deaths and 128,000 confirmed dead.

How does the world's richest and most powerful country dig this mess so deep!

Not to catch it, but to have a severe course of it, as far as I know.

If I may ask (or maybe you already mentioned it and I've missed it), where did you catch the virus in January? Was it in Switzerland?

Probably in Malta, as I was in a busy hospital 8 days before symptoms, 4 days before symptoms I did fly to Geneva via Zurich & then on to France. Just after I was ill, COVID 19 was officially in France 25km away, so impossible to know.

Sweden is on the list.

Better clean up the house since she'll be spending a lot of time in it.

Eeck. At least try to have some fun and a chance to win some money, like these Alabama Students:

"Several college students in an Alabama city organized “COVID-19” parties as a contest to see who would get the virus first, officials said. [...] McKinstry said party organizers purposely invited guests who tested positive for COVID-19. She said the students put money in a pot and whoever got COVID first would get the cash."
