And your picture shows exactly why reusable masks are a lot cheaper in the long run and can be made yourself so even less cost.

| | Re: Coronavirus | Quote: | | | | | Which is one of the reasons why I make my masks. (The other being I'm having fun remembering how to sew after so many years...)
Depending on the fabric, design, and the type of closure, my masks cost from 2 to 7 Chuffs apiece to make. Washable a gazillion times so quite a bit less expensive in the long run.
Another FYI, Coop had the disposable masks at 20% off today. I don't know if that sale will continue into next week, or not. | | | | | I still dont know what it is? Certainly not the Queens English https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Chuff |

Well on the subject of pronouncing words.
I recall a famous Rugby Union commentator who had great difficulty pronouncing Borussia Mönchengladbach !!

I just saw my 82 year old aunt who lives in Nyon, she has never worn a mask & always went shopping 3 times a DAY! She likes to see other people & does not like being at home all day! apparently shop keepers kept telling her to stay at home | The following 2 users would like to thank fatmanfilms for this useful post: | |

The men had been clearing bat droppings from an old mine some 1000 miles from Wuhan. Samples were frozen and sent to the lab in Wuhan...

Interesting studies from Sweden about T-cell immunity | Quote: | | | | Advanced analyses have now enabled us to map in detail the T-cell response during and after a COVID-19 infection. Our results indicate that roughly twice as many people have developed T-cell immunity compared with those who we can detect antibodies in. | | | | | https://news.ki.se/immunity-to-covid...sts-have-shown

| | Re: Coronavirus | Quote: | | | | | The plot thickens... | | | | | An alternative view | Quote: | | | | The SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19 may not have originated in China but could have been thriving in a dormant stage in the environment for decades, according to researchers.
Brazil lately reported finding the novel coronavirus in the sewage samples from last November in Florianopolis.
Spanish researchers detected the coronavirus in samples taken from wastewater collected in Barcelona in March 2019, and their counterparts in Italy also found traces of the virus in the sewage of Milan and Turin last December. | | | | | Source

The Broadway star Nick Cordero has died of complications from coronavirus after being in a coma for several months. Cordero had a leg amputated and suffered several mini-strokes during his long stay in hospital.
Cordero was 41 and is survived by his wife and one-year-old son.
COVID-19 does not kill—or even affect—only the elderly and infirm, but indeed (as mentioned before), it seems that only celebrity cases get reported. In a sad parallel, Derek Draper, the husband of Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway, has also been hospitalised for months with complications from coronavirus and only recently awoke from a coma. He had none of the "usual" symptoms of COVID-19.
Both men suffered considerable damage to their lungs and other body parts. "Survival" from COVID-19 is not the same as "healthy again".

US government failing badly in its duty to protect US citizens.

Ooooppsss | Quote: | | | | Spain's coronavirus antibodies study adds evidence against herd immunity
Spain's large-scale study on the coronavirus indicates just 5% of its population has developed antibodies, strengthening evidence that a so-called herd immunity to Covid-19 is "unachievable," the medical journal the Lancet reported on Monday.
The findings show that 95% of Spain's population remains susceptible to the virus. Herd immunity is achieved when enough of a population has become infected with a virus or bacteria -- or vaccinated against it -- to stop its circulation. | | | | | Source

So now people will start getting respiratory infections. By wearing masks one breaths back in a part of what one breathed out-CO2. Can't be good in the long term
