Very bad cough for at least a week. I got tested in France at MIRIALIS laboratories, they have many branches. I just turned up, the cost was €23 for the ROCHE test, probably slightly more in CH. Results online the following day.
Thanks. Glad you feel better.

I suspect the death rate from the vaccine could well be higher than from COVID, no doubt half the people of the thread will take it, laughing at us fools for thinking COVID was not that dangerous.

I would not laugh yet. There appear to be, in many people, lasting effects - neurological, lung and cardiac - in fit youngish people. I don’t know what the frequencies are, I think it’s at least worth consideration.

You really think the vaccine death rate will be higher than the virus? Or is that just being provocative? Or is that the Russian vaccine?

The Russian vaccine, you are probably too young to remember https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thalidomide , When I was a kid I did sometimes see effected children. As it happens they are even testing Thalidomide to treat COVID 19..... https://www.frontiersin.org/articles...020.01248/full

Re: Coronavirus

I got TBE vaccine a month or so ago after few cases of encephalitis in the last year and a half on people that got bitten in parks in center Lausanne!

My doctor said it that ticks are by far more dangerous than covid but nobody seems to be afraid because it's simply not in the news. When ebola was in the press few years ago he got calls non stop from people to be vaccined yet they only have seen Africa on a map

I have never gotten a flu shot, why should I get a covid vaccine? It's ridiculous.

And here is how media is pumping the hype called corona virus.

Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources have mandated all their employees to wear a mask in their homes during teleconferencing.

The reasoning behind it according to whoever made this decision is:

“Also, wear your mask, even if you are home, to participate in a virtual meeting that involves being seen — such as on Zoom or another video-conferencing platform — by non-DNR staff. Set the safety example which shows you as a DNR public service employee care about the safety and health of others.”

This is one of the most idiotic things I have seen.

You do realise that the TBE vaccine doesn’t protect against borreliosis don’t you?

Should I worry because a crazy manager in an obscure state office across the ocean thinks about setting a safety example? There's idiocy everywhere around the world, anywhere you look. Why is this specific idiotic act relevant? Is Swiss or your home country policy influenced by what happens in Wisconsin?

With a vaccine that hasn't gone through phase III trials. Anything could happen. I wouldn't go near it. There's a reason the west hasn't released a vaccine yet.

Why do you think that grown ups shouldn't have stuff imposed on them when we do it without a blink of an eye to toddlers?
Because toddlers are deemed not able to make life decisions for themselves.

Personally I'd take a (properly tested) vaccine all day long. However, we don't live in a police state. You do what you want with your body no matter how stupid.

And knowing how gullible people are, by the time an effective and save vaccine is rolled out, the internet quacks will have created enough fear in a vaccine that enough people won't take it, reducing the effectiveness of the herd immunity.
(in a similar way to what is happening with measles now).

Thalidomide definitely isn’t a Russian vaccine, it’s a drug developed in West Germany and although it has many uses a vaccine isn’t one of them.

Noooooo. I thought that would be multiple cats or something.

But I do have an entourage of screen objects to "liven up" my web classes.

Insufficient testing prior to public release.
