And this will continue to rise. In March, cases reached 1000 on the 16th and were plateauing around that level in the second half of the month. Peak in hospitalizations (207) did not occur before the 27th.

Re: Coronavirus

John Snow memorandum started up in response to the Great Barrington. Unlike the latter, every signature is being vetted.

The full declaration is well worth a read. Particularly by all you herd immunity pushers.

I wonder what sort of useless nonsense we will hear from them...

“The situation is very worrying”

“We leave it in the hands of the canton who have already acted to contain...”

“We must avoid another lockdown”

“Download the app that may or may not work”

“It is about self-responsibility of the population”

I would have never thought Steve Bannon supports mask wearing.
I've supported Steve Bannon wearing a mask since the first moment I saw him

And then for the company I work for (as we are waiting for a statement from the management):

as we had such a good experience telling people to come back to work on April 15, we also this time will not allow working from home

Why can't they have these press briefings in the evening so that we can play cliche tequila shots bingo.

Same here mate...

“We are going beyond the local requirements for measures inside the office and have been applauded by the canton of Zurich.”

Meanwhile, we’ve had 4 positive cases in my team with many others in quarantine. But if we wear those masks in the office, we can’t possibly get sick.

For those of you on home office, what's stopping you?
Actually in the office might be no harm as well with the stink of hand sanitizer masking the smell.

Overdid it on the hand-sanitizer again? Used it so much that your hands are cracked enough to drink through the backs of your fingers?

My supply of tequila is low, I'll have to make do with whiskey.

Overdid it on the entire liquor cabinet supply.

Taking a month long break, one week in. Wish me luck!

Home office and masks indoors now officially recommended. The first measure will have an effect at least.

If the Task Force recommends this, does this mean it automatically becomes BAG guidance? I know of companies that strictly look at BAG to decide on wfh.

Recommended, so not enforced/obligatory where possible. The company I work for knows better so will not allow working from home.

That is because you cannot be trusted. It is amazing how stubborn some employers are with this issue.

That is exactly the reason, CEO thinks that anyone working from home does not work

As far as I understand it, it's just a recommendation at the moment, however I can't imagine that it will be ignored.

TBF, I think they're sensible measures, no curfews or forcing hospitality businesses to close as has been seen in other countries. The Swiss strike the right balance once again!
