Are you asking if the system has some sort of setting? AFAIK it doesn't. If you want mods to delete every post from a particular user every time they post on a particular thread, sorry but you're dreaming. We do have an ignore feature though.
I'm not asking for the mods to delete a lot of stuff, On one of my forums I installed a mod allowing me to ban specific users out of either some forum sections or out of specific topics. Worked great since some users can be o.k. in general but a total ass in a specific topic.

I've seen a lot of birds lately with flew-like symptoms.
Same here, they're all grounded now.

Microsoft is encouraging employees to work from home (at some locations) if they can.

Waiting for my company to do the same thing. Please please please!

A quick update of the situation:
We are advising anyone who has frequent contact with elderly people that have slight flew like symptoms to come to the hospital and get tested.
Even if you have a franchise on your insurance, please come to the hospital.

The forecast of the number of infected will be around 100 by this weekend.
Please wash your hands frequently if you use public infrastructures and avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes.

There are a few hundred elderly peoples homes in CH. And probably in every one of these is one person with the flu or a cold or a sore throat.( including the people who work there ) And you suggest they should all go to the hospital to get checked

Ironically, Microsoft Switzerland is *not* encouraging people to work from home here, where there are far more cases than Seattle and far more spread out (so harder to avoid). The policy is just the company policy which is if you're really uncomfortable coming to work, you can clear WFH with your manager. :/

Re: Coronavirus

Just seen figures saying 111 cases in Switzerland with 20 in Zurich but Geneva pretty static on 7. I can't help but wonder what they're doing differently, if anything?

I know Migros has some good discounts, what are they charging for a plate of Coronavirus these days? Does it cost more if you share with a friend and need an extra plate?

As long as you sit close enough, one coronavirus can be shared between people. No extra plates needed, only one set of cutlery for the best experience.

Yes it costs more. The maximum you can put on a plate and have a fixed cost is alot. But its forbidden to share it. But of course its really easy to cheat!

Re: Coronavirus

Wow long thread, haven't read all of it. Can see some jokes on this page but am assuming it's ok to ask serious questions, here goes.

I just got back from Dubai, I saw a LOT of people wearing masks there but I didn't think much of it. I always wash my hands after touching baskets in shops anyway and I wash my hands before I go to dinner, but It slipped my mind on the plane and I'd been using the touchscreen and gamepad

Also I shared a car with 3 Iranians for 2 hours and I shared shisha with them. They offered me my own mouthpiece tip but I wasn't thinking about coronavirus (also didn't know it was in Iran) and I declined it...

Am I F'ed

Re: Coronavirus

Yeah as if everyone dropped dead immediately after merely being in the vicinity of the virus.

This to me is all completely OTT and apparently, people love their doomsday scenarios and being paranoid for the sake of being paranoid.

Everyone seems to have forgotten that the flu affects about 5 million and kills more than half a million. Every single year of course. Not 3300, 3000 of which were people in the epicenter of the whole thing, and for the most part vulnerable to begin with.

People seriously need to calm the hell down.

I mean, wasn't a great idea probably. ;) Assuming you're young and healthy, you're going to be fine, even in the *remote* chance you are infected; but for the sake of others in our community who aren't, please make sure you wash your hands regularly, don't touch your face, and avoid touchin' too much stuff or too many people in public.
If you present some symptoms in the next 2 weeks just be sure to tell the clinic of your travel history, though with how quickly it's spreading in Switzerland, this is soon to be irrelevant.

So summary: you're probably completely fine, for others' sake, wash yo hands and keep them to yourself.

Edit: I guess better follow directions from the health ministry: https://www.bag.admin.ch/bag/de/home...-reisende.html
