| | Re: Coronavirus | Quote: | | | | | I've said it before, for 99.99% of people they are better of catching covid than getting a vaccine. Doctors say CDC should warn people the side effects from Covid vaccine shots won’t be ‘a walk in the park’ | | | | | Well. What about the c. 0.3% of people who will die (greater than 0.01%).
Also, there is no evidence that the protection offered by catching the virus is greater than that afforded by the vaccine.

Some people have a very weird concept of what hysteria actually is.

Honestly - even the added trash-cans around the restos here (turned into take aways) cannot take any more gastro tourists.

Been an interesting thread so far.
Sweden which is probably the most socialistic country (excluding communist regimes) in the world is now the favourite of the alt-right.
12.734% of EFers claim masks and lockdowns are unnecessary and use the word hysteria in 64.329% of their posts.

| | Re: Coronavirus | Quote: | | | | | I thought hysterical meant driving across two cantons for a restaurant meal in the quest for normalcy | | | | | That too. And insisting on closing all cantons down because 5 of them ran out of beds.
I am used to travelling across the country for books, but not for steaks. Maybe my priorities need improvement, in terms of survival. On the other hand, the invasion here feeds the economy, innit. If feds disagreed with me, they'd close everywhere and introduced real lockdowns. We are experiencing a soft version of everything that seems to work elsewhere. Swedish or Korean. I see a trend.
I also think that intercantonal gastro tourism is more tolerated in fed scenarios than people going to eat or shop in France.

| | | | | Why do you keep posting statistics without sources? This one post has you lose all credibility in my eyes.
Actually I'd love to see someone trawl over the data and see the frequency of word usage in this thread. Science, expert, fake, immunity, herd, heard, lockdown etc. Stick it on a timeline to see when different buzzwords hit higher frequencies.

Btw you forgot "hysteria". I think it's in every other post here.... | | | | | Have you got a source for this information from a credible expert on marton? Marton himself is not qualified I'm afraid.
If you will excuse me I've a bought of hysteria coming on and must retire to my fainting couch.
(I know he's joking, I'm finding it hard to take anything serious at this time of the day)
