Well, let's start with the Americans, shall we? The home of the alt-right, after all.

define "favourite" plz
Really? OK:

favourite noun: A thing regarded with especial preference or liking.

It's kind of a common word, you know.

I think you meant "communist". I mean he meant "communist". I know English is not your mother tongue but as long as you have some tongue.
I am certain that marton knows the difference between communist and socialist, and that he absolutely did not mean communist. But he can let you know that himself, I'm sure.

Sweden which is probably the most socialistic country (excluding communist regimes) in the world is now the favourite of the alt-right.
Indeed! I was also wondering how the US government is going to distribute the billions of doses of vaccine that they have contracted to buy. Free vaccinations for everybody? That might spark a bit more interest in the "socialist" healthcare systems of evil countries like Germany, the UK, and Australia.

Do you see where I posted (excluding communist regimes)?
I had that "cunning plan" to exclude communism to quote that pheasant plucker Black Adder.

And communism. Extremes are generally problematical. True socialism falls somewhere in between.

Can anybody point me to a story that says people over 60 are being asked to sign a no-resuscitation waiver at hospitals in CH ? One hospital, one canton, all of CH?

Mrs H says she read it on some FB group.. But I can't see any source.

I don't know what you are talking sbout. They are mostly people who enjoy individual freedoms and resent the Swedish "society and government know best what is good for you" culture.

It has been widely reported in the world's media that Swiss doctors are ordering at risk patients to declare DNAR for Covid arrivals.

https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/reuters...vance/46175294

https://www.reuters.com/article/heal...-idUSL1N2I62KB

What I've yet to see reported is that this is perfectly normal practice in Switzerland.

I feel that to want to sign a DNAR vs to be urged to sign it by medical staff are two different things.

I thought hysterical was an organized EF road trip to another country for KFC (when KFC wasn't in CH)

Why do you keep posting statistics without sources? This one post has you lose all credibility in my eyes.

Actually I'd love to see someone trawl over the data and see the frequency of word usage in this thread. Science, expert, fake, immunity, herd, heard, lockdown etc. Stick it on a timeline to see when different buzzwords hit higher frequencies.
Can't we just play a drinking game instead?

Calling Democratic candidates socialists worked rather well in the USA to scare voters. Socialism there is a bad, bad, very bad thing (even if people don't actually know what it is).

You may want to double check the effectiveness of flu shots.
In my sample size of 1 I've found them highly effective. The only year I didn't have one in the past 10 and I caught flu, spent a dizzy sweaty day at work before being dispatched to the doc and being signed off for a fortnight. Then I got labyrinthitis.

Thereís been no hysteria here either despite the high number of hospitalisations.

Some people have a very weird concept of what hysteria actually is.
They really do. I think what most folk who use the term actually mean is "shut up you with your ideas that are different to mine." Particularly if directed at wimminfolk.

I think he meant the EFers who posted rising numbers, copy-posted info on missing ICU beds (Neuchatel), dissed Swiss federal government for not re-introducing stricter measures all over CH, cca 2 wks ago. Short memory seems to be one of the EF trademarks, too.
Huh? So does passive aggression.

Quote:

None of which could even remotely be classed as hysteria.

Indeed.

That too. And insisting on closing all cantons down because 5 of them ran out of beds.

I am used to travelling across the country for books, but not for steaks. Maybe my priorities need improvement, in terms of survival. On the other hand, the invasion here feeds the economy, innit. If feds disagreed with me, they'd close everywhere and introduced real lockdowns. We are experiencing a soft version of everything that seems to work elsewhere. Swedish or Korean. I see a trend.

I also think that intercantonal gastro tourism is more tolerated in fed scenarios than people going to eat or shop in France.
Que?
