| | Re: Coronavirus | Quote: | | | | | Thanks. I'll try to report my test result back later. I have no idea if my dr. is going to do a normal test or a rapid test today. I'm going to wear two-masks when I go in there.
Raging headache since yesterday that won't go away, stomach problems, complete lack of energy, etc. Good times. | | | | | You are doing test at your own Doctor's surgery ? Yikkes. Here in NE, they only do tests at specialist centres to ensure anyone with Covid symptoms has no contact with other people, surfaces, etc.
Good luck- the reality is, that most people with Covid do not become very sick and recover fairly quickly with no long term problems (as I did).

| | | | | No they don’t, you can get tested at the doctor’s surgery if the doctor has chosen to be in that category of practice.
There are several of them in Neuchâtel, our GP being one of them.
There are very strict regulations applied and the tests are done at specific times to avoid mixing with other patients.
Hope your test comes back negative Pancakes.

Good luck- the reality is, that most people with Covid do not become very sick and recover fairly quickly with no long term problems (as I did). | | | | | Well, I called my doctor's office earlier and explained my symptoms and asked if I should get a test. Without hesitation, she said "Yes!" So then I asked if I should go to the testing tent set up outside the apotheke here, for a rapid test, and they said they can just do it there, in their office.
I just returned home from it. When I arrived, they had me go directly to a special room reserved for COVID-testing. She gave me the option of having a rapid test or a normal test, and then we both agreed that a normal test is more accurate, so that's what she did. They'll call me tomorrow with my results.
It's funny. I've had that test three different times now, and each time, it seems to feel more strange. That test is one feeling that I guess you just never get use to. | The following 2 users would like to thank Pancakes for this useful post: | |

You can do a swab right away or can do it at home, fill some paper and put the test in special box at health center's entrance
in couple of days you will get sms with a link where you can check your result

No right to have someone you love hold your hand as you pass on... | | | | | I don't think this is universally the case anymore, and definitely not across CH. Sadly a relative recently passed away from COVID and his wife and daughters were able to be with him in hospital. This was in Winterthur.

It was the same in the UK, the hospital called my cousin in to be with my Uncle when he passed away.

| | Re: Coronavirus | Quote: | | | | | nice data point. but you'd help your cause if you:
a) added a source
b) added data for over 50s too | | | | | Well over 50s just take away from the total.
Source is https://www.covid19.admin.ch/en/epid...tal&detRel=abs
Also that does not show data split for any underlying medical issues..
You can easily lookup the latter.
My point is to highlight the appalling approach. Also the hidden truth.
Try and find these figures for the UK.
I have !!!
after much digging and shocking stonewalling.
The figure is so low that it would shock. I’m not trying to stir up a rebellion but please...people.....LOOK AT THE NUMBERS...
To finally add, every fatality is not just a number.
