What is a...
“7 day rolling average of new cases per 100k” | | | | | I understand your general viewpoint, but don't let your total lack of useful and rudimentary data analysis skills cause you to draw the conclusion the truth is hidden and obscured. Your ignorance discredits your otherwise valid concerns about the net effectiveness of lockdowns.

When not possible a mask has to be worn. | | | | | But if she is in the risk group she can stay home and still receive her salary. But it's unclear to me how it's done in the case of domestic staff. Do all her customers have to pay her usual amounts during all the time she stays home?

After all, she did not cause this pandemic and she and her family need an income. Looks as though I will put my cleaning gloves on and refresh my ironing skills (or lack thereof!) when I head back to Zurich. I am actually looking forward to giving our flat a deep clean during my quarantine. | The following 3 users would like to thank terrifisch for this useful post: | |

The data that I and many others would like to see is as I stated before.
It is hidden as you cannot aquire it. Perhaps you could see through my 7 day rolling average ignorance and tell me?
Try to reply without petty insults.

UK to require negative test too from next Monday (was originally tomorrow but they don't seem to have fully decided exactly which tests if any they'll allow yet alongside PCR ) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-55656589 |

The lockdown extended for another month, what is your predictions for March?
Does your crystal ball see another extension?
I went out yesterday, people on the bus still have masks on their mouth only! Actually the number of people doing so seem to have increased! The Best one was a guy who pulled his mask down to sneeze and then back up |

Greg | | | | | It makes no sense ... a dear colleague has come down with a serious case of the virus after coming back from a ski trip. Just a few more months guys... just hang in there and be safe.

| | | | | Not at the moment but they’re worried they will be.
They seem to have forgotten that the virus is not the only thing that leads to hospitalisation.

It was in a stairwell with nobody else there but I had to shake my head with shame.

But the alternative is quite gross...I really can't wait for the day where we don't have to wear these things.

I'm optimistically hopeful for late summer.

They seem to have forgotten that the virus is not the only thing that leads to hospitalisation. | | | | | Basically they’ve looked at the UK and Ireland and realised the same would come here in a couple of weeks. For the very first time they’ve actually anticipated events.
As stopping skiing has an immediate impact on hospital admissions no need to act in advance there. Plus skiing is very low risk for COVID and the benefit of getting people in the open air possibly outweighs the low risk.

Does your crystal ball see another extension? | | | | | Til end March at least I reckon. Maybe mid April. Sooner only if they finally get their act together on vaccines.

For once they are being somewhat proactive in their approach.
I don’t ski so whether they close it or not makes no difference to me but I agree that getting out in the fresh air is a very good thing.
