So, EF, make my day: as it will be my first solo Valentine Day ever as an adult (no dirty jokes from Ticino's Corner, please!), what ideas do you have, so that I beat the blues already building up in anticipation? | | | | | Why make a big deal out if it? Valentine’s Day is just a day the same as any other. A overhyped commercialised day at that.
Get yourself all the things you enjoy and have a lovely evening indulging yourself.

Bless my village restaurant! They have a Valentine takeaway menu that's gorgeous (homemade pork pie with local wine jelly, SCOTTISH salmon curry with saffron rice and purple carrots mousse, and for dessert chestnut, almond and dark chocolate torte with passion fruit coulis...and for those who cannot bear to eat alone, they've set up a "Singles" table!! | The following 10 users would like to thank McTAVGE for this useful post:

(the PMs I have received might make me stay in this little family a bit longer).
But it sounds wonderful: View over all the couples bickering about whether pescatarian (with a revolting sounding side dish), or purely revolting (but wonderful dish to my times before vegetarianism).
Being alone can be fantastic as well (am also a well seasoned specialist in this area). Actually, I couldn't imagine a life where I have to be with someone day-in, day out anymore.
Am a happy "single"!

I like eating with people, the idea of a "singles" or various groups of people around table appeals.
Providing there are tables for couples or groups who wish to sit together and of course for single who prefer to sit alone, there are times I prefer to eat alone.

I've been given the chocolate and the flowers to today, but I'd prefer something a bit more organic than the third item on the list | The following 2 users would like to thank Cherub for this useful post:

Now we can start taking bets on how many on this single table will have tamed up by next year and book their separate table. | This user would like to thank curley for this useful post:

I imagine the man of the house saying something like "I am feeling a bit down today so I thoughtfully bought you this for Valentine's day"?

I am SO glad you are back, ZuriRollt!!! It would have been a real shame for EF to lose someone like you who can show "out of the norm" perspectives...and that Valentine on your own was not so bad after all! | The following 2 users would like to thank McTAVGE for this useful post:

I don't know how to upload a video from my PC to EF, I have tried in the past, it has never worked. |
